Video Makes You Awesome! By Guest Blogger: Jendi from SimpleVloggingTips.com
One of the first video bloggers I watched online was Kimberley/TheGoToMom. I was so impressed with her intro, music, and comfort level on video. I lurked her site for a while without ever leaving a comment. I watched and studied. I'm not near as amazing as she is, but I have improved and love to share what I've learned with others.
Here are five things I learned about vlogging from watching Kimberley's videos:
Look right into the camera lens. Talk like a friend is listening.
Use nice lighting, and especially make sure your face is lit.
It's okay to have informal chats through the webcam and fancy produced videos on the same site. It shows you are an expert as well as a real person.
Take your camera with you. You'll never know when you could get some good video clips.
Make sure your url is in the video and the watchers know who you are.
Thank you Kimberley for all the fun videos! By the way, I did learn some things about parenting too.
Best!

ABOUT JENDI: Jendi looked for ways to improve her vlogging when she started making videos for online in 2008. There were many sites with complicated information, but none with simple tips for those just starting. She launched simplevloggingtips.com to help fill the gap and to encourage other moms to push record and just vlog it. Follow her on twitter @Jendisjournal
