About the Show

This is a dynamic "How to" show for families with young children (newborn to 6). The "Go-To Mom" is a national parenting expert and addresses parenting issues, discipline strategies, emotion coaching and much more! The show also presents cutting edge research about early childhood and brain development. Viewers can call in live to TheGoToMom's Talk Show. Various specialists are featured periodically.

About The Go-To Mom

Kimberley Clayton Blaine is a national child development expert and a licensed Family and Child Therapist who specializes in working with children ages newborn to six years old. She has two children of her own and has been working with families and children for over 23 years. Kimberley is currently the Social Marketing Director for a Los Angeles based Early Childhood Mental Health Campaign (Project ABC) funded by the US Department of Health and Human Services (SAMHSA).

Kimberley is the founder and executive producer of a grassroots webshow, called www.TheGoToMom.TV. Kimberley is a national speaker and teaches "Early Childhood Brain Development" and "Positive Discipline Strategies" at UCLA Extension Education Department. Kimberley writes articles and feature blogs for traditional parent magazines and websites.

Kimberley is the executive producer of the online original series A Byte Out Of Life sponsored by Yahoo! and Silicon Valley Moms Group.

Kimberley teamed up with Sony this September in LA. A small group of high profile mom bloggers spent 3 days at Sony Pictures to learn about the new products for families. She went behind-the-scenes and a shot a show on the red carpet movie premier of "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs."  Watch it here.

She is the creator of child abuse treatment activity books for the California Department of Criminal Justice Planning. Her new publication is the “My Feelings Coloring Book for Preschoolers,” (2008) sponsored by a US Department of Health and Human Services (SAMHSA) grant.

Kimberley serves as a special correspondent for BabyTV at the ABC Kids Expo. She also is a consultant and presenter in Los Angeles, California and has been featured in the following publications: Los Angeles Times, San Diego Union Tribune, Pasadena Star News, Daily News LA, Arizona Republic News, The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, In- Hollywood, ePregnancy, Parenting Magazine, Family Magazine, Fit Pregnancy, Cottage Living, MetroParent Magazine, Mom’s Network and LA Parent Magazine.

Kimberley is well known for her warmth, ingenuity and willingness to reach out to families in need of state of the art child rearing resources. She is an excellent and captivating public speaker. In her own words, “ I am here for children, every time I try to branch out I end up back in the preschool classroom…that is were I'm destined to be.”

Kimberley has been inspired to give back to organizations that care and heal abused and traumatized children through her program, The Growing Ground for Kids.
